Ask a Psychic - Important: The Key Factors To Consider Before a Psychic Reading

Q: I'm really interested in getting a psychic reading this weekend to help with a big life decision I have to make next month. What should I look for when choosing a psychic to call?

A: It's a good question... and the good news is, you DO have lots of options when it comes to choosing a psychic.

I recommend 3 simple things - each of which should not only help make sure that the psychic, medium or reader is GOOD, but that you are protected if the reading doesn't go as well as planned. (even GREAT psychics have bad days... and bad connections with clients, customers and callers)

1 - Set a small budget before you begin. Never go into a psychic reading without knowing how much you are willing to spend. That includes going to see someone in person, or calling a psychic, medium or clairvoyant via a phone network as well. (as if you aren't careful - ESPECIALLY when you see someone face to face, you can find yourself agreeing to additional services you don't need, or didn't plan on before you arrived.) When it comes to phone psychics, the good news is you can usually PREPAY, meaning that whatever you allocate prior to the reading is the total cost - period. (I recommend keeping it between 10 and 30 dollars for a first time reading)

2 - Know the type of reading you need. We've talked about this before, but good psychics specialize. A medium is NOT someone you want to call about your career. An emotional empath, or love psychic is NOT someone you want to call about afterlife communication, or hard core spiritual issues, or that sort of thing. Knowing what KIND of reading you want goes a very long way in making sure you get what you need... and more, from your experience.

3 - Look for longevity. Good psychics have usually been around a while, and have the fans, followers and history to back it up. This is especially relevant online, where you can pick a psychic or network based on a track record of success. (obviously it's a little bit tougher to know how long a reader has been working if you come across them OFFLINE in the real world, although you can certainly look for recommendations from friends or others before choosing someone)

Remember, in the online or phone reading world, you can tell a TON about how good a reader is from their history, and how long the service they work for has been around. Good networks (or individual intuitives) are almost ALWAYS rewarded with lots of client loyalty, and the longer they've been doing what they do, usually... the BETTER!
